Jones Soda Bottles!

While working at Minecon, we ran into Todd Martini, digital marketing manager for Jones Soda. He was there promoting Jones, who was including bottles of its soda with all of the swag bags that were being given out. Randomly distributed in those bottles were special Minecon editions of the soda; flavors such as Fizzy Fish, Pork Pop, and Rockin’ Redstone. Everyone really enjoyed the bottles, but unfortunately, they were currently Minecon-only.

At the annual Child’s Play Charity dinner and auction, we ran into Todd again. He had just dropped off some special versions of The Guild-themed bottles, and we asked him about partnering with Jones for the Minecraft Marathon. Todd agreed that this would be a neat opportunity to work together for charity, so we exchanged information, and have been talking off and on this past month.

Today, we’re pleased to announce that Mojang has given its approval to re-use the Minecon labels for Minecraft Marathon! All of the standard flavors that were given out will be available again (there were a few super limited edition bottles that aren’t included, for obvious reasons!). How do you get one? We may raffle a few off, but we’ll definitely auction some packs; these will be listed on our Prizes and Auctions page. Additionally, we will be getting codes for free packs of myJones, allowing you to create your own custom bottles!
